Andrew Aguilar Signs On As Sharks GM
The Wilmington Sharks of the Coastal Plain League have announced the hiring of Andrew Aguilar to be the team’s GM. He replaces former GM Conor Coloia who returned to Wisconsin to take on a similar role with the Madison Mallards.
Aguilar has a wealth of experience running baseball teams. He has had stops as either the GM or assistant GM with the Jackson Senators of the Central Baseball League, the Jackson Diamond Kats of the Texas-Louisiana League, the Southern Oregon Timberjacks of the Northwest League, and most recently with the Alexandria Aces of the Continental Baseball League. He has been part of four front offices that won Organization of the Year for their league.
Aguilar is a graduate of the University of Wyoming. He earned a degree in Communications/Broadcasting. He also has experience broadcasting games, including serving as the play-by-play voice of the Jackson Senators while also serving as the team’s assistant GM.
