Cape Cod League Hires Website Editor/Senior Writer
The Cape Cod League has hired Rob Duca to be the league’s website editor and senior writer. His duties include writing and editing articles and press releases for the league’s website, as well as for distribution to local and national media. He will also be responsible for writing and editing the Cape Cod League’s yearbook, all-star game program, postseason media guide, and Hall of Fame program.
Duca has a long resume that includes writing awards from the Associated Press, the New England Associated Press News Executives Association, and the New England Press Association. He has worked as a sports writer for the Middlesex News, the Waltham News-Tribune, and for the past 25 years with the Cape Cod Times.
Duca’s writing assignments have included covering the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and Boston Bruins. He has also covered events such as the MLB World Series, the NBA Finals, the Stanley Cup Finals, the Ryder Cup, NCAA basketball and hockey, the Winter Olympics, and the U.S. Open.
