The North Adams Steeple Cats of the New England Collegiate Baseball League have hired Chris Moore to be the team’s head coach for the 2010 season.  He replaces former manager Jeff Verplanke.

Moore is currently an assistant head coach at Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, OH.  He previously served as a coach at the IMG Baseball Academy and was an assistant coach at Indiana University.  Moore also previously coached in the Florida Collegiate Baseball League.  The past two summers, he served as an assistant coach of the Southern Ohio Copperheads of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League.

Joining Moore for the 2010 season will be pitching coach Joe Shortt and assistant coach Bobby Segal.
