The East Texas PumpJacks of the Texas Collegiate League have announced that head coach Ben Taylor will return for the 2010 season.  Next year will be Taylor’s second with the PumpJacks.

Taylor is the associate head coach with Scottsdale Community College in Scottsdale, AZ.  He is also an associate scout with the Milwaukee Brewers and works with the Chinese National Baseball Team.

In 2009, the PumpJacks finished the season with a record of 26-19, good for second place in the Texas Collegiate League.  In the playoffs, the PumpJacks lost to the eventual champion Coppell Copperheads.
