The Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Baseball League has named Danny Steinstra (Bethesda Big Train) and Joe Supple (Rockville Express) as their Players of the Week for the week ending July 12. 

Steinstra, a junior at San Jose State, hit .480 for the week with three doubles, eight RBI, and he scorted eight runs.  Steinstra also stole a base.  At the end of the week, Steinstra was riding a 10-game hitting streak.  For the year, Steinstra is hitting .322 with two homeruns and 17 RBI.

Supple, a pitcher at Santa Clara, threw a no-hitter against the Maryland Redbirds.  In 9.0 innings, Supple struckout eight and walked five en route to the victory.  In 2009, he is 2-2 with an ERA of 2.84.  he also has two complete games.
