The Cheyenne Grizzlies of the Mountain Collegiate Baseball League have announced the hiring of Luke Wetmore to be an assistant coach for the 2010 season.  He will work under the direction of head coach Aaron Holley.

Wetmore is a graduate of University of Redlands in California.  He was an outfielder and DH on the Bulldogs baseball team.  In 2008, he joined the coaching staff of Occidental College and serves as the team’s hitting coach.  He will also work with the Grizzlies’ hitters.

The Grizzlies will defend their 2009 Mountain Collegiate Baseball League regular season championship beginning on May 30 when they take on the Laramie Colts at historic Pioneer Park in Cheyenne.
