The two new teams to the league will be the Sikeston (MO) Bulls and the West Kentucky Mavericks.  The Sikeston Bulls are returning to the league after missing the 2008 season.  The team, which participated in the league from 2005-2007, was purchased by John Crockett and will play in the West Division.

The West Kentucky Mavericks are new to the league and will be the only team that is a 100% traveling team.  The Mavericks will play all away games at the home fields of the other seven league teams.  The team will be based in Mayfield, KY and will be led by Shawn Yarbrough, head baseball coach at Mid-Continent University.
