Nitros Name Shockley Head Coach

allegany-county-nitrosThe Allegany County Nitros of the New York Collegiate Baseball League have named Ryan Shockley as their head coach for the 2010 season.  He is currently an assistant coach at Spalding University in Louisville, KY.

Shockley is a graduate of Lindenwood College where he played baseball for four years.  During his senior year, Shockley led his team to a berth in the NAIA World Series and was named 1st Team All-Conference and 1st Team All-Region.  He still holds the all-time record for hits at Lindenwood.

Shockley is familar to the Nitros and the New York Collegiate Baseball League.  He was a middle infielder on the 2005 Nitros team.
