The Madison Mallards of the Northwoods League have announced that coaches Jason Immekus and Jason Smith will return for the 2009 season.

Immekus will return as the Mallards pitching coach.  He currently coaches at Jefferson College where he has served as an assistant coach for four years.  Immekus is a product of Independence Community College and the University of Washburn before playing for the Richmond Roosters and the Kalamazoo Kings in the Frontier League.

Smith played his college ball at Aurora University where he earned All-Conference honors three times and All-Region honors twice.  He previously coached for the Quincy Gems of the Central Illinois Collegiate League.
