The Coastal Plain League has named Danny Williams of the Edenton Steamers and Robert Jeroszko of the Gastonia Grizzlies as their Rawlings Players of the Week for the week ending August 4.

Williams hit .462 for the week, including a homerun and three doubles.  The sophomore from the University of Pennsylvania also collected eight RBI.  For the year, Williams is hitting .266 with two homeruns, 10 doubles, and 24 RBI. 

Jeroszko, a right-handed pitcher from the College of Charleston, threw 16.0 innings during the week, including a complete game start, and did not allow an earned run.  He was 2-0 for the week with 23 strikeouts.  This year, Jeroszko has compiled a 4-4 record with a 3.39 ERA.  In 71.2 innings pitched, he has given up 72 hits, allowed 27 earned runs, struck out 92, and allowed 15 walks.
